Set domain prices and import a registrar

Customers can register a domain once its extension has prices on Domain pricing and is on sale.

Only the account owner can change domain prices and supplier connections.

Connect a registrar

You can sell through ndovi wholesale, through your own registrar, or both.

1. Go to Settings › Suppliers.
2. Choose Add a connection and pick your registrar: Openprovider, Netim, Porkbun or ResellersPanel.
3. Enter the keys from your registrar account and choose Connect. Keys are stored encrypted. Nobody can read one back, only replace it.
4. Choose Test on the card to check the connection.

With ndovi wholesale, ndovi sets what it costs you, and your wholesale wallet pays for each registration. Choose Open wholesale on its card to top up the wallet.

Import extensions from your registrar

1. Go to Catalogue › Domain pricing.
2. Choose Import from your registrar. Under Which registrar?, choose one and Continue.
3. Set the Margin on everything you import. It is over the registrar’s cost. It starts at 23%.
4. Under Import, choose all extensions, or Only the ones I tick. You can give any row its own margin.
5. Choose Preview prices and check them. Nothing is saved until you add them.
6. Choose Add 12 extensions (the button counts what you ticked).

An extension marked Can’t import has no registration or renewal cost from the registrar. Price it by hand.

Restore fees are not set by an import. Add one on Domain prices if the registrar charges it.

Set prices by hand

1. On Domain pricing, choose Add an extension.
2. Enter the extension, such as rw or co.rw, and choose the Registrar.
3. Enter what each registration, renewal and transfer costs you, then choose Add to the list.
4. In the table, type the Register, Renew, Transfer and Restore prices customers pay.
5. Choose Save prices.

New orders use these prices. Invoices already issued keep theirs.

Change many extensions at once

Tick the rows, then use the bar above the table:

• For the selected rows, set margin to: type a margin and choose Apply to selected.
• Take off sale or Put back on sale.

Extensions that need a document

A row marked Needs a document asks customers to upload proof of who they are before the order completes.

Who registers each extension

The Who registers tab shows which registrar takes new registrations for each extension. Choose Change registrar to move new registrations. Domains you already have stay with their registrar until you move them.
